He and his brother, Elmer love to clown around and Wally is always making us laugh. | Comments: | I just wanted to post something I purchased one of Connie's puppies the end of June and I have to say she is just adorable. She has been very easy to potty train and totally is a joy. I actually visited the kennel twice and I have to say that Connie does a wonderful job keeping up with all the dogs and I couldn't get over how cleaned up all the dog areas were. This is her thing and these dogs are her babies. I would really recommend BC Young bassets. Your puppy will be loved and cared for very well. |

We looked long and hard for another companion and found the perfect match at BC Young Bassets. Our experience was so awesome! Connie is so helpful and friendly! We picked our baby boy out one day and picked him up from the airport the next! We love him soooo much! He's absolutely adorable, has a great personality, he's hilarious, mellow, crazy and the biggest cuddle bug you'll ever meet all in one! | Comments: | i received our little basset" hailley on friday may 27th, the whole process was so easy, connie was so helpful, picked her up at airport with no problems, what a joy she has brought to our family, we have a 10 month old bassett and just lost our 10 yr old lab. we decided our 10 month old needed a friend. its only been 6 days, but she is the sweetest dog in the world, very very calm and loving, seems like she came almost fully potty trained!!! i can't express enough thanks to connie for giving us this sweet beautiful little girl, i recommend bc young bassets to everyone!!! |

| Comments: | My friend Wendi Burba from Plympton, MA just purchased one of your adorable bassets and sent me a couple of photos. They named her "Tallulah" and she is a gorgeous puppy. I can't wait to see her in person. I am a former basset owner myself and he was the best dog I have ever owned - Chester had a love affair with the world. His favorite people were the strangers he met for the first time and his gentility and sweetness extended to other dogs, cats, squirrels...the species was immaterial. To Chet everyone was a potential playmate. With respect to the Burbas,I can assure you Tallulah has found a wonderful home. This is their fourth basset so not only will your little girl be given a mammoth amount of love but the advantage of an owner very familiar with the needs and character quirks she will undoubtedly bring to the table. They are super close 'brothers' and love each other more than anything in the world. Gus is healthy and super fit and athletic, not at all overweight. He was potty trained from the moment we brought him home. He was home for less then an hour and went and scratched at the door to go out and pee. You raise wonderful dogs and I am very grateful! We just LOVE him! he his five now and a big moose as our neighbors like to say. He isn't over weight, we have him on very good food. He is just a big boned and muscular basset. He has the best tempermeant of any dog I have ever seen and we get compliments on him all the time. Everyone knows Otis, that is his name. We rescued a female basset that was abused a few years ago and they just love eacher other. She is alittle older than Otis. We can't say enough good things about our "midgie man" he is great! When we are ready for another, we would come back to you guys in a heart beat for another basset. Lexi and him really like each other just trying to figure out who is going to be incharge between them. Both have exercised their authority this afternoon but all is calm now. | Comments: | Connie, It is hard to believe that it has been two years since we came to your place to get Alfalfa. He is doing great and loves to go on walks. One of the attached photos show us on a hike west of Boulder, Colorado. He thought that he was a mountain dog and loved to climb up on rocks and look rough and tough. The other photo we took after we just finished a 5K walk earlier in the year in a neighboring city. We walked, he jogged. | Comments: | Hi Connie, I went to the Basset Hound Olympics today. The bassets were so so cute. My two were the cuttiest dogs there. I really mean that. The people kept coming up to me and asking where I got my bassets. Especially Baily the red and mahogany one. It was the best day I ever spent with my dogs. They got along with everyone and all the dogs. Next year I am going to enter them into the contests. I think they could definately do the jumps etc. Thanks for my great family of dogs. Joy |

| Comments: | Hi It is one week ago today that we recieved our baby Basset Hound.He is one of Frannie's pups. We named him Louie and he is doing great. He seems to already be housebroken since he only had two accidents and that was 6 days ago. We are extremely pleased with his demeanor and calm temperment.We regret not taking his sister too who is still on this website. So far he is exactly what we were looking for. He is very smart too.Tomorrow we are having our family members come over to meet him so it should be a busy day. Connie Young is great and she made sure our puppy arrived with as little stress as possible. It is along way from Nebraska to Rhode Island. | Comments: | I just wanted to say that we were blessed to find your website. We have had Rufus for 3 years now and he is the best dog ever. Your description of basset hounds just fits him to a tee. He is well loved and very spoiled. My husband will ask me to get up and get him something when Rufus is laying on top of him so that he doesn't disturb him.
